Anybody have one? I picked one up a while back for $125 in excellent condition, couldn't pass it up. Blue/CC, 4 1/2" barrel(why not 4 3/4"?) 45lc. Decent German quality. Good companion to my 5 1/2" Ruger Vaquero in 45lc. EAA has transfer bar but loads like an old SAA with the half cock and all, kind of neat.
My question is how durable is the case color finish and is it real or like that stuff Ruger does/ My friend had a Vaquero and he claimed certain solvents ate the fake Ruger CC's! On my example it does appear the Ruger CC's are a bit fragile too and I don't want my EAA to suffer a similar fate.
Great gun, I find even most of my higher eNd guns have an issue of some sort, not liking a brand of ammo or not shooting POA but the EAA just works and works well with no issues.
