Where does the EAA rank in terms of strength compare to the Ruger and the Italian SAA Clones? I think is it stronger than the Italians but not as strong as the old model Vaquero and possible not as the new model Vaquero? An arcticle in a gun magizane, said he used a EAA to test new loads either heavy or light.
Thank you.

I have read where the EAA revolvers chambered in 45 Colt are very adequate for loading up to 44 Magnum levels/pressures.

KRR you might post this question on the SASS wire. Those cowboy shooters know a lot about single action six guns.

parsite, i would love to see that

Coyote3855 that's just what I need another forum

The reason I asked is I bought a box of Corbon 45 Colt +P 200gr JHP and the only 45's I have are a EAA and a Winchester 94 Trapper. I don't want to damage eithier gun.

I wouldn't hesitate for a minute in shooting your Corbon's in the Bounty Hunter.

In reference to my previous post, I read that about the 45 Colt Bounty Hunter while I was killing some time several months ago at a book/music store one day in one of the gun mags, and for the life of me I can't remember which one......Sorry.
