Hey everyone, I know there is already a CZ club but we know that while EAA and CZ are kind of cousins, the EAAs are a different monster:evil:. I'm getting my EAA witness later on today and will post pics of it... So lets see some witnesses and some other cool EAAs!

I"m pretty sure you just started a picture thread with no pictures. You can't do that. :)

Here's my new production Witness Elite Match in 10mm. The only issue I've had with it is a faulty trigger pin (moves under recoil). Otherwise it is the most accurate handgun I own (more so than my SW 627 PC), and absolutely devours hot underwood ammo.

Yeah I wish I could post pics but i still have a couple hours before I have the pistol. It's the longest few hours I have waited so far! Oh and your hunter is amazing, it has the agressive look but it still has the sleek look to it as well, I am officialy jealous :D.

Torian,

SO you have a "Bren 10" that actually works?

Just teasing. Closest I ever got to owning a BREN was at a shot show where they handed me one of their guns and it cut the begeebers out of me. Wsa sure for a moment they were going to give me one to shut me up.

When I imported a CZ75 into the country in 1982 I was "special" and a bit later the Italian guns came out. A fried dashed out and bought one and we found that slide group from my pistol would fit his and magazines inter changed. I would not fire either gun with mixed parts other than magazines though. At the time the CZ was still worth $1400 in mid 1980's dollars and if memory serves the first TZs were around $200. I have often withed I had sold my CZ and relaced it with a couple of TZs and a Python but there is no going back

Ok Mr. Smarty Pants :)

I do think the Bren Ten is a great looking firearm, but there were way too many issues with the weapon to make it worth owning. It would make a great collectors piece though if you could find one NIB and put it in the safe.

I did a lot of research before putting down the dough on this Elite Match. EAA hasn't had the best history as a company, in terms of magazines that work, slides that buckle under pressure, and horrible customer service to go along with (it is still pretty bad actually).

That said, there weren't a lot of double stack 10mm on the market for me to choose from (I'm not a glock guy) either. The gun has shot beautifully, handles heavy recoiling ammo like a charm, has a trigger to die for, and is quite accurate. I put in a 20 lb wolf spring and a henning guide rod...aside from this it is factory original.

The new production EAA Elite Match handguns are very nice, and are pretty reasonably priced (around 500ish) I'm quite happy with it, so long as I don't need to call customer service for ANY reason!

I'll play. Here are my Witness Compact and my Witness Elite Match, both in 9mm. I love both of these pistols.

Are those Hi Viz sights on your Match? I'm considering changing out the standard white dot setup that came with it.

Yes, it's some brand of fiber optic. It was on the gun when I purchased it used. I love fiber optics.

Here is my compact 10mm. The previous owner cracked the slide and he replaced it with a new blued adjustable site version. For what I paid, it was a heck of a deal. I'll probably get a 38 Super conversion some time soon.

Tanfoglio , not EAA

I like my 10mm Match - great value!

But, it is not made by EAA. It's made Tanfoglio - that should be the title of this bunch!

hey WBWanzer... I own a pair of Elite Match 10mms. No pics til Aug as I am pulling a 28 day hitch on my towboat. looks like you have some aftermarket sights. Who makes the rear sight and is the front sight from Henningsshootsguns? I have had zero luck finding anything like a night sight for my 2 weapons and am considering Nitesiters but skeptical as to their durability

sorry WBWanzer. I posted my question before I saw your answer to Torian's question. I didn't even get white dots for my sights. just black on black. Anyone found/know of any after market nightsights bsides Hennings?

Here’s my Witness .45. It was part of a special run, with a full-size frame and compact, ported slide and barrel. I replaced the original ported barrel with the one shown. Both barrels function the same, except the longer one isn’t ported and gives higher velocity.
The grips are Hawaiian Koa, custom made for the pistol.

It’s for sale. Cheap.
Be advised that the gun locks the slide open with rounds still in the mag pretty frequently and EAA’s famous “customer service gunsmith” refuses to fix it. :cuss:

Please don’t post advice on ways I can fix it. I’ve tried them all.

Here is a trio of Witness .45's. The center one is a "Carry Comp" model in wonder finish and it's flanked by a pair of genuine stainless steel models, note their factory dovetailed front sights.

Next is a 10mm "Match".

And a 10mm "Limited" surrounded by other 10mm's. Sorry about the "others" in the pic, I just recently sold the Limited and this is the only pic that I had of it.

And last but not least, my daily carry for the last few years, a 10mm "Stock", along with miscellaneous Cold Steel blades.
