At my LGS this afternoon and the EAA K2P felt good in my hand and I liked the feel of the trigger so on impulse, it came home with me. Since it was almost nightfall I hurriedly loaded 10 of my soft reloads in one mag and 10 factory hardball in the other and hustled out to my backyard range. I just wanted to fire it and made no serious effort at accuracy. It handled all 20 without a burp but seemed to throw left, which I've read is common. My reloads functioned well but the last one failed to lock the slide back, being so weak. No prob with the factory stuff.
Later when I broke it down I found the inside totally, I mean absolutely totally, DRY! All moving/sliding parts are now appropriately lubed. Fit and finish of the
slide, rails, and poly frame appear excellent to my eyes. Trigger (DA/SA) suits me as its an easy pull in SA and lets off without causing any movement of the gun, like I do when i shoot a Glock for example.
I have plenty of ammo so when the wx permits, I'll give it a good workout and adjust the rear sight a bit. For $350 OTD, I'm satisified.
