Hello all.

I know that the EAA Witness line are 'basically' CZ75 clones. But I'm kind of torn between two guns for my next purchase, and holster availability is definitely going to be a deciding factor. I'm assuming I could just get a CZ75 holster for it, but I'm looking at molded holsters.

Since the Witness I'm looking at is in 10mm, is the frame going to be larger/bulkier since the CZ typically only comes in 9mm (and maybe .40 I think)?

Are there any other considerations? I'm specifically going to find one without a rail, so that shouldn't be an issue.

CZ and the older original frame Witness guns are smaller than the current Witness frame.
Holsters need to be made for the current Witness.

Even the older "small frame" tanfoglio/witnesses are a bit different than CZ75s. (I know I love mine, but its hard to find holsters). Leather CZ75 holster work after some break in. However Kydex needs to be made specifically for the witness. Hennings shop is a good place to start and look.

Lou Alessi (RIP) made me my rig for my Compact .40 Witness truck gun. It is absolutely perfect tho.

Since the Witness is DA and usually carried as such I would stay away from snaps and retension devices to optimize that capability. Their ARE custom kydex guys around , even on this forum, who could make you a real nice rig.
