"In the latest sign that the time has come for campus concealed carry a student newspaper editor in Ypsilanti, Michigan yesterday broke ranks with the “groupthink” of most college journalists by calling for legal campus carry.
In his April 8th editorial, “Guns allowed at school?,” Sammy DeMarco, Opinions Editor for Eastern Michigan University’s student paper, The Eastern Echo, said he’s “flipped his position” on guns on campus and that he no longer can find a reason why staff or students at any university “should be left defenseless.”
