I ordered some primers and powder from Cabela's last week, and was surprised at how fast they managed to ship it out to my house. Even with UPS ground, it only took all of two business days for the package to arrive at my house. Both Cabela's and Midway have always been great, in my personal experience.

Outstanding display of unity. Now if only some one could quantify the negative impact in terms of lost revenue due to the "feel good" decision on the part of the venue administrators.

I can't remember the number - but do recall it being mind boggling - when they cancelled the Great Western show in Pamona. Epic loss of funds twice yearly with a smaller version in December as well.

The tax payers in the region should be made aware as well as the fact that the jurisdiction will be looking elsewhere to balance the shortfall.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised it Progressive wasn't a part of the decision.

Progressive in the title and "progressive" in the socio-political leanings of the CEO and public donations of the company.

If you wanted to make an impact, MAIL a hard signed letter to each and every company that pulled out of that show, applauding their integrity, and make it a point to patronize them in the future (and tell them that in your letter).

Imagine the support that would be showed by having a few thousand pieces of mail come in thanking them and pledging some form of future business.

It looks like COMCAST has pulled out as a sponsor! They are no longer listed on Sponsor portion of Sportsmans Show Web Page! One to go...Progressive Insurance, I e mailed them and they said they are evaluating there sponsorship!!!! Send those E-Mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After writing several emails asking sponsors to withdraw, it is nice to be able to write to them again and thank them for listening to us.

Earlier this evening I had the nicest conversation with a young lady from Cabelas and was utterly amazed at the unity she expressed for the our community (gun owners). As a result I plan on returning the favor by heading out to Cabelas tomorrow and making a long overdue purchase some fishing gear that I've had my eye on for some time but could never quite "justify". Now I can.

Wow, nice to finally see some great things happening! Though it's a shame considering this was likely to be my first gun show, it's definitely given the firearms community an opportunity to hang together.

Well, it wouldn't have been very representative of a good GUN show. Interesting as a hunter, but any of the regular Harrisburg gun shows (held in the same building), or the one down at York, would be far better gun shows to attend.
