Has anyone ordered from them before?

I have tried contacting them, but they have only sent one reponse to my several emails. As such I don't feel very confident ordering from them even though their prices look great.

1) The website doesn't have a phone listed.
2) I did ask for a phone number in the first email that I sent. I received an email back, but it did not contain the phone number.

They might be 100%, but the lack of customer service has driven me to another supplier. Just my experience.

TyGuy, we're in Illinois too, just north of Chicago. Anything we can help you with? We even have a phone number: 800-504-5897.

This is the first time I have heard of Eastex and I must say their $9.99 shipping on long guns is more than great.

I am thinking of buying a bolt action .22 soon and may have to look closer at this.

I have tried optics planet before, but after placing an order I got the dreaded "your item is out of stock" email. To your credit I was able to easily call and cancel the order. Perhaps your website now has product availability, but it didn't work when I tried a year or two ago.

Hey everyone - I've been a long time reader of this forum, but this is my first post. I wanted to chime in, say hello to introduce us, and to tell you a little bit about our company Eastex Shooting Supply.

We are a small business owned and operated by two families. At the time of this email we are a little over two years old. We started selling reloading brass on gunbroker and have continued to grow quite quickly from there. Our website www.eastexshootingsupply.com is home to nearly 40,000 products and we carry everything from AR-15 accessories to tree stands and everything inbetween.

As you have seen from the posts above - we do not have a customer service phone number at this time. At this point in time we simply do not have the man power available to answer calls on a regular basis. We understand this will turn away a lot of business, and hope someday to hire more people into the business but are not there yet.

We reply to nearly all emails within a day, and often within a few hours.

Someone already posted the link above to our Reseller Ratings reviews and I will do so again here:

You may also want to take a look at our Gunbroker feedback - at the time of this email our numbers are as below. This is one of the absolute best ratings you will find on gunbroker for sellers with that many feedbacks.

As far as our customer service being poor as brought up in a previous post in this thread, people are very quick to share negative experiences, and there are people everywhere who have had bad experiences with any number of companies. There are many many more people out there who use us on a regular basis and have had great experiences who you just have not heard from.

Why should you check us out then? We're a small business built from the ground up by working hard and treating our customers well and offering some of the best pricing on the web. We take pride in our work, and love every minute of it. We are family oriented, god fearing, gun loving, proud Americans through and through. That's it.

Feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to get you what you need.

Thanks, God Bless.

Willie (aka "W." if you've got emails from me in the past!)

Order as many items as you want - flat rate UPS Ground shipping of $9.99 no restrictions and orders over $300 ship free - firearms are included in that as well.

Checking this out on their website I saw Katy Texas which is a western suburb of not so good old Houston.

Right Heeler, the name comes from Eastex Fwy, I guess. I was hoping for something a bit north of Nacogdoches, closer to Longview & Tyler...

That's weird because I live right off the Eastex Freeway and Katy is nowhere near it.
