this will be easy for someone if 1 click is 1/4" at 100yrds than what is 1 click at 400 ,500 and so on? i can find ballistics all day long but nothing on this. i know theres a chart some where:confused:

it's angular, iow proportional, so at 400 yrds it would be 4x 1/4 or 1". at 500, 5x 1/4 == 1 1/4" etc

The MOA does not change one bit with distance, however the distance a MOA covers does! So, at 100 yards 1 MOA is equal to about 1 inch while at 200 yards that same 1 MOA corresponds to 2 inches and at 600 yards the 1 MOA corresponds to 6 inches.

So, the MOA does not change but the distance the adjustment makes is proportional to the distance.

So your scope that has (4 ) 1/4" adjustments to the inch will have 4 at 100 yds

At 200 yards your 1 moa scope becomes a 2 moa scope so each click adjustment will now be worth 1/2" 4 clicks will equal your 2 moa you now have

at 300 the moa will cover 3" so each click will raise or lower you cross hairs 3/4" 3/4"x4clicks=3"

at 400 the moa is now 4" so each click will raise or lower your cross hairs 1" 1"x4clicks=4"

Hope this helps. Easy when you see it this way. 1/4" adj. scopes you divide by 4. 1/8" adj scopes you divide by 8 . and 1/16" adj scopes you divide by 16

a 1/4" adj scope sighting in at 875 yards would work out that each click in elevation or windage would be as follows 875yds becomes 8.75MOA then divide by 4=2.1875" for each click adjustment. 4 clicks would move bullet impact 8.75". Those same 4 clicks at 100yds move the bullet 1"

and so on... at 1000yds you moa is now 10" and each movement of the ele. or windage knobs will move the POA 2.5"

Guess your totally confused now.....Sorry
