Sorry about the double "now" in the title!!!
Not withstanding posted Ebay and Paypal rules against these items, they seem to have done quite well for the sellers (click "view original item" box: )

Six more days to go on this one:

I am not endorsing this activity, just marveling at its success.
I have always believed that if you are not going to enforce a rule/law, that you should not make it!!!

Yes you can buy non functioning guns on ebay listed as parts. You have been able to buy gun parts all along. But when shopping on ebay you better have a good idea of the going prices. I have looked on ebay and some of the stuff is way high. My bud who refuses to listen to me about ebay prices bought a 1/4x28" nipple off ebay for $10 plus shipping. He was sick when he was shown they were just over $3.50 at Dixie and deer Creek. And I told him $10 was too high before he bought it. Oh well...

Ratshooter -

1. I agree with you about Ebay prices 100%! Note that the BP peacemaker went for OVER $600 when it would have had trouble getting $400 from a more knowledgeable audience as on GB. I wonder if the buyer thought he was getting a cartridge gun? Surprise, surprise!

2. Your comment about gun parts sales on Ebay is correct, except these do not qualify as such because they are ALL fully complete and functioning guns including the frame. Some frame sellers get around this on Ebay by calling the frame a "cylinder holder." While they are advertised as "parts" in the title of the auction, the sellers all clarified their completeness and functionality in the descriptions. Either Ebay wasn't paying attention or no longer cares about complete BP gun auctions.
EDIT - One was missing nipples.
EDIT - The one still for sale, while not described as complete, seems complete from the pictures.
