I've decided that I'd like the evil M-14 variant on the far side. PM me and I'll give you the address to send it to.:D

M14

That TACOM M14EBR-RI is the real deal M14 ENHANCED BATTLE RIFLE (EBR), 7.62MM.

Here are a few in AFG.

I prefer the Crazy Horse M21A5 EBR SEI made for me.

Still Too Many Choices!? Good god man! How much does that beast weigh with loaded mag and suppressor?

 I seem to remember the digital scale reading something just over 16 lbs.

Ha! How funny, I was going to guess about 15# LOL. I can't talk though , my AR is about 10- 12# and I don't have a suppressor...... Yet!

Still 2 Many Choices!?

The one the only...the huh? What the heck is that... :neener:

You own guns that are not based upon the M14? And made in Russia no less (looks like a Saiga but I may be wrong)...wow...that is a big step. :D

armoredman, I LOVE CZs. I think they produce a gun to satisfy any need for a gun I will ever have and then some. 75% of my guns are manufactured CZ; but you have got to be the biggest CZ mark there ever was!!! :D

No, there are several people on czforum.com with far bigger collections than I have today... :)
This VZ-58 is an awesome rifle, works like a charm...

Personally, I've preferred the AR-10 over the M-14 rifle since my tour took me to Israel and I saw how scared the 'Opposition' is of it.

The AR-10 (now designated the M-110 30 years late going into US service) gives a hard hitting rifle in a LIGHT package,
Manges the recoil,
Give FAST follow up shots,
And allows the marksman to make SNIPER distance shots.

The weight savings over an M-14 can be better used packing around better sights or more/different ammo.

I would rather have a slightly heavier M14 that is more durable and reliable than the
less durable and reliable 7.62 AR that may or may not be slightly lighter than the M14.

Water man, I cannot help but feel that you are biased anytime a M1A/M14 is mentioned, I just can't figure out why. :p

WHAT DID YOU DO TO THAT POOR M17??
A little milling and drilling. It improved the balance, and reduced the heat developed at the forearm.
It looks like it was attacked by a crazed Dremel tool wielding a sack of picatinny rails.
Have you used the sights? Tried to mount a scope? Nuff said...did what had to be done. :D

Now the scope on the other hand...is destined for a demotion...a Ziess is in the M17's future.
