I started reloading because I wanted cheaper ammo so I could shoot more, and because I simply wanted to learn the dynamics or reloading. I started off 2 years ago really cheap...an old Lyman turrent press, Lee auto-prime, Lee 9mm dies, scrounged brass, some CCI primers, lead bullets, and a pound of Bullseye. That stuff paid for itself very quickly, but I soon got the itch to expand production and calibers. I now use a Lee Load-Master progressive in addition to the old Lyman, and I now load for 9mm, .38spl, .357mag, .223, .308, .243, .45ACP, .45auto-rim, 30-06, 270win, 30-30, and .380acp. I certainly haven't paid for my equipment yet, but I figured I am only 24 years old and with a lifetime of reloading I will pay for it ten-fold.
