Economy single shot: CVA, H&R or Rossi?

I'm considering a 45/70 sigle shot. The CVA, Rossi and H&R can all be had for a similar price. Which one is most likely to give the best accuracy?

I have sold MANY, MANY Rossi and H&R rifles and by a large margin quality and accuracy is superior with the H&R

I can't eloquently describe the ins and outs of what makes one or the other different, better, or worse. I can say I was given an h&r single shot as my first firearm by my papaw. So for sheer sentimental reasons I would pick the h&r. But I will add my (and ever h&r I've ever seen) is flawless.

H&R quality is far superior to Rossi (even post Remington acquisition) and I own both. The H&R 45-70 will take modern full power 45-70 loads (in S&W 500, the SB2 receivers are exceeding 65,000 psi) and the welded underlug is stronger and therefore less likely to loosen or deteriorate over time than the CVA.

It is only fair to warn you that purchasing one H&R Handi Rifle is the start of a slippery slope. After you acquire barrels in all the available factory calibers, you will find yourself barrel stubbing a 9.3 x 74 project, reaming a new 45-70 to 45-120 or creating some bizarre 499 Hubel Express monster. I have an H&R in .25-06 with the heavy barrel. I am very confident carrying a single shot in the field for hunting.. I can't give a good comparison to the others since I am unfamiliar with them..

I only recently looked at the CVA website and videos. For the price they seem to come with a lot of nice features.

I don`t have any CVA or Rossi, but I will swear by my Handi-rifles.........( hope I don`t get in trouble for swearing)...........LOL

I don't own one, but that H&R Buffalo Classic 45-70 is kind of neat
