Educate me please....SL8---->G36

So I've seen these SL8 rifles around and I've never really cared for the looks of the things. I stumbled across a pic of a SL8 with the G36 conversion and it looks freakin' awesome! Where can I learn more about this process? Do any of you have one yourself? It appears that after the conversion the rifle accepts AR mags correct?

Ahhhh...I too have been tempted by the lure of the G36 lookalike.

A grand for the rifle , $250 for the rail , $35-65 for the bipod mount ...


I have an SL8 and like it quite a bit . It's more accurate than my AR-15's but it isn't the easiest rifle to shoot offhand for me . You can spend a mint customizing one into a G36 clone but I plan on leaving mine standard ; I like that it's so different . Some receiver covers crack and according to HK it is entirely cosmetic - mine has around 2k through it with no problems .
