Eezox...using in the barrel

I just wanted to make sure that there was no problem with using Eezox gun oil in the barrel of a gun. As I understand it, the dissolvent in the spray evaporates and leaves behind a protective "waxy" layer that serves as barrier that prevents rust. I just wanted to make sure that this "waxy" layer does not affect the accuracy of a new rifle. Of couse, I would run a cleaning patch through the bore before I shoot it, but I just wanted to make sure that there was no problems with a change in the effects between the rifling and the bullet like some of the moly lubricants can cause. Thanks for any comments back on this issue.

Since when does a molybdenum disulfide lubricant have any effect on rifling? (except maybe make the rifling last a little longer)

And aren't your bore swabs harder than the "waxy" coating?

I use it all the time in barrels. Not a problem.

Naturally you should never shoot a gun with a barrel full of oil.

Also I use Corrosion-X with great success, which is a bit thinner.

Love the stuff. It cuts down on leading, easier to clean barrel, great lube.
