Herbert & Schmidt EIG Model E8 it has been sitting at the bottom of my parts guns box for years. It needs alot of help that im looking to do myself, since its a very inexpensive gun. I cant find any websites with parts for it, ive already tried numrich. It needs springs, trigger guard, hammer (unless i can fix where its cracked at the pin hole) And its always in the back of my head when i go to gun shows to try and find parts. You guys know where i can continue looking to make this gun a shooter again?

It sounds like you are determined to fix that gun so I doubt you are interested in this, but I will say it anyway. Toss that piece of junk back in the box or better yet into a deep lake where you won't be tempted to spend your hard earned money on it. If you want a working gun at a moderate price, there are plenty of good used guns out there and almost any of them would be better than that one.

Firearms are destroyed all the time; some I regret, others not much. The worst kind are those that destroy themselves and take someone's fingers or eyes along.

Some folks collect those SNS guns and they are collectible as long as the collector doesn't count on selling his collection for his retirement income. But to spend time and money to fix one that has already blown or broken is what we used to call "not economically feasible."
