Nicely done! I wish this stuff made the news more often! In Chicago, we would've seen the sad story about how this youth had his life snuffed out before he could go on to be a productive part of the community.....

The odds are that the sun itself would be "snuffed out" before he ever became "a productive part of the community".

I have an exceptionally harsh and hostile reaction to the complaints and protestations of families of violent felons who get shot in the act. Given that INVARIABLY it was THEIR "parenting skills" which led to junior being an atavistic, sociopathic beast, I simply have no "compassion" for him OR them.

If you don't want your kid to get shot, don't raise him to be an arrogant, entitled, violent felon. Otherwise, just suck it up.

Shall we take up a collection to buy him a gun that might be a little more reliable? Good shooting sir, and note that a single round of .32 ACP took the fight out of this 17 year old punk. Not that I would carry a .32 for a primary, but it beats the heck out of harsh language.

I hope that gentleman has a spare pistol to keep around while he waits for the return of his Beretta. The poor guy will probably become some kind of target now. At least they didn't strike a sympathetic tone about the kid in this article. I really do feel for these kids, parenting being their reason for behaving like animals, but he deserves what he got.

Everybody knows that old people should not have guns to defend themselves, the bad guy will just take it and use it on them.:D
I do hope the guy invests in a more reliable gun.

Hopefully this moron will now reconsider his misguided career path and go back & get his high school diploma. The new hole in his chest will be a great place to store it.......

The shooting will be reviewed by the city prosecutor, police said. Ziolkowski said he would drop off his weapon at the 4th District Police Station for ballistics tests as police requested. They promised to return it to him.

WOAH WHOA WOAH....wait a minute here....he was asked to swing by with his pistol?! Haha only in the country! In the city he probably would have been pepper sprayed in the eyes and intirogated and never see his pistol again! But they actually said they would return it too..... And I think this gent needs a Glock.

Wait, wait... will someone tell me why the police need to do ballistics testing on his handgun? Whaaaaa?

That's where I'm at. Really? I mean I realize the need to verify everything, but I'm having a hard time rationalizing ballistics here.

Old Man: "I shot the punk!"
Punk: "He shot me!"
Doctor: "He was shot."
Police: "Ballistics."

:scrutiny:

The one time you want your pistol to go FA and instead it jambs poor old dude. My hat is off to him.
Good shootin wish him the best.
Good police force as well they seem to be treating him with respect.
