A few months ago the art director from the USA Network television show Burn Notice (about an ex-CIA guy in Miami) emailed and called me about using a physical copy of Enemies Foreign And Domestic as a visual prop in the hero's apartment. They thought it was something an ex-spook might be reading...go figure. If you watch the next couple of episodes beginning this week, you might see that familiar bright yellow book lying around.

I just saw this book at a gunshow yesterday... interesting it was right next to the books How to Forge Government Documents and ID's and Homemade Explosives sigh.....

I think what is more suprising is that a Hollywood type Art Director would know about your book in the first place?!!

Maybe there is hope after all.

Burn Notice is one of those implausible, stupid shows ( along with all the CSI's) that i somehow still seem to enjoy every time i catch an episode. hhmmm, go figure.

I love Burn Notice. :)

It kind of reminds me of the '80s fun shows, like Magnum PI.

Way to go, Matt.

Sorry for the delay, just after posting the above, I got in the car to drive to a vacation place, where the internet ops are few and far between.

As far as book 3, "Foreign Enemies," I'm hoping to get it out early in 2009.

Matt

I just finished reading that book.

It was good.

Will be reading the 2nd book soon.

OK, I guess. What does that have to do with "General Gun Discussion"?

Pat, this is a book every gunny should have on their shelf.. .I have two copies, one to keep and one to loan out.

Burn Notice is like Magnum P.I., Macguyver, The A-team, and The Equalizer rolled into one on the set of Miami Vice. CSI is just incoherent nonsense.

I've found out that in the Thursday episode on USA, the book will be seen lying on the table next to Michael's computer.
