The gun also has a short trigger.

Wondering if it has the short reset also? The engraving doesn’t bother me, although I would cerakote the frame another shade and swap grips. Then shoot the crap out of it! Love my 226!

Goofy? Folks have been engraving firearms for century. Looks like classic engraving to me, not goofy.

The photos of the pistols in the link provided by @Jimbo80 show standard triggers. While the short reach trigger was probably an option on some models, I remember it mainly as an extra part.

I didn't think the 320 that was done for the Tomb of the unknown soldier was much better.

I like Sig. And I've proudly watched the changing of the guard at the tomb. But that gun was not good IMO

When *Bar-B-Que* goes horribly wrong. I have to wonder what Sam Houston would say about that bit of nastiness.

Looks like the OP's answer is just a bit further down the page if you can get past the *bear-gun* without wrenching and yanking the cord outa your computer.

Otherwise, some rather nice factory customs in there.

With empty gun, of course, and trigger in ready
forward position, try jamming it with force down
into holster. Also, with pressure against outside
trigger guard's middle area (simulating seat belty
position), again jam gun down into holster.
