I like the blade itself though, I wonder how tough it would be to make some G-10 grips.

Those Wharncliffe blades are real good cutters for work and it's an assisted opening blade too.

You're right. Golly, they're ugly. As my mentor teacher (who looks almost exactly like George Carlin, only better natured) would say, they "hurt my heart".
