Gun Dream
I remember having a "nightmare" shortly after I got my Texas CHL. Stayed up late one night, playing some stupid sub simulation, got hungry and ordered a pizza, the usual pepperoni/mushroom/green pepper type.
Now, Ichowed down a good bit of the pizza, despite knowing this was guaranteed nightmare material. Usually what would happen a couple hrs after falling asleep I would would end up getting chased around the block by some big hungry looking werewolf, until I awoke in a cold sweat.
This time the dream was a bit different.
I remember the dream starting out set in darkness with me pulling up in my truck to my place and getting out. Then, the usual werewolf jumps out from behind some nearby bushes and starts advancing in my direction, snarling.
In the dream, I remember instantly pulling my newly acquired CCW piece - a Colt 1911 .45 Series 80 - and without any hesitation shooting the monster twice COM.
The werewolf blinked, looked stunned (this I clearly remember) and then ran off in the opposite direction. I then woke up because I was chuckling so hard. Slept pretty well the rest of the night - and NEVER - regardless of late night diet , ever had that or similiar nightmares again.
