Alright,
That C&R comment was just wrong.
I've bought a few just to play with.
A Davis 380 just to get used to the idea of a small pocket auto, it lasted several hundred rounds before it devoloped a crack in the slide.
A Jennings 22 bought to ride in my tackle box, turned out to be to inaccurate to hit anything smaller than a tin can with, but was fairly reliable.
A Pheonix HP22 to replace the Jennings, a nice surprise, was reliable and accurate, wish I had kept it.
A Llama 45, still not sure what made me do that, I blame it on a stroke, best 4 shot hardball only pistol I've ever owned.
Several more, mostly from my strange obsession with 380 handguns (I ended up with 13 of them) Grendels, the RG hanging on my wall. If we move on to rifles then we're talking closets full of them.
