Everglades Hunting

i normally go hunting up in Maine were my Grandpa has a big chunk of land.
this fall ive decided to try goin out in the Everglades.
In the woods in maine theres 1 main stream that atracks all sorts of animals but since there is water all over in the Glades i dont think this strategy will work too well.
if any of you go out in the glades id Appreciate any info on what a good stategy is. (weather you get a tree stand or walk around etc)

i hunt with a Marlin 30-30 and normally hunt deers, but im open to wild boar and other things (i could still get a shotgun)

'glades is a pretty big place. Narrow down which area you are interested in, and what terrain and you might well get some help.
