I tend to carry 5 or 6 on my person like Arfin does. But my personal record for carrying knives all at once so far is.

Victorinox Swisstool (belt pouch)
Extrema Ratio Nemesis (right front pocket)
Dark Ops E&E Interceptor (on belt, horizontally at small of back)
SOG Access Card 2.0 (black) (wrist wallet)
Tool Logic Survival Card (wallet in back pocket)
SOG Access Card 2.0 (silver) (wallet in back pocket)
Boker Plus credit card knife (belt wallet)
Tool Logc Card (belt wallet)
SOG Flash (pocket organizer in cargo pocket)
Cold Steel Peace Keeper III (worn around neck)
Victorinox Swisscard (front jacket pocket)
Spyderco Endura 4 (jacket cargo pocket)
Benchmade Griptillian (maxpedition travel wallet)
KA-BAR TDI Ankle Knife (worn as an actual ankle knife)

I haven't done it since, and someone would have to double dog dare me for me to ever do that again! :D

Jacket Knife

Oh, yeah . . .

. . . In the above description of what I carry and a typical load-out, I did forget to mention the jacket.

During the chilly months, typically from sometime in September until sometime in April or May (in other words, at least eight months) I also wear a jacket, and the jacket has a knife of its own. It's an old, very used Case Sod Buster Jr in CV steel. The scales are cracked, the blade has some old rust blotching, and it's sharp as the dickens. I made the mistake of trying to clean the lint and crud out of it with a folded paper towel while carrying on a conversation with my wife. And the darned thing [post=7220236]just went off[/post]! I had no idea it was even loaded.

:D

So I guess that would make seven knives for the day in question.

Maybe we shouldn't discuss what I keep in the truck console. It might make me look obsessive.

:p

Got to agree with HSO ~ Victorinox is missing.

By far my favorite is the SAK. I particularly like the Trailmaster model. I like making walking sticks and the saw is a big plus for me. Never know when you will run across a nice vine twisted beauty. Low profile, great blade and you might want a screw driver, awl, tweezers, or a tooth pick.

Guess, I also like to eat, anybody else notice that restaurants now-a-days don't have courtesy toothpicks?

I think you've got me on that one Arfin, I only carry one single knife in the truck console.

But I also tend to toss a Makarov in there too!

:D

I was leaning more towards everyday carries that are more "personal protection" use. That's my fault for not explaining. Case and Victorinox don't fit that profile, but I see obvious reasons why they are exceptional everyday jobs.

Blackops ~ I think from your recent posts (other thread) that you really want someone to justify an Emerson. They are a little on the pricy side, but if that's what you want, you're not going to be happy till you buy one.

Bite the bullet and enjoy...

Never bought an Emerson, but they've always impressed the hell out of me whenever I handle one.

If that's what you want, Blackops, get one and don't look back.

I have a CRKT M21, a Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn & an original Leatherman. Of them, I carry the CRKT because it's the most useful in my day-to-day. The Leatherman was on my belt when I was doing IT (opening and fixing computers daily) & the Gerber is a legacy of younger days in the army.

The CRKT is my second from them and the one knife I'm interested in is also from them.

Might as well list what I carry.

Left pocket on a clip: SOG Flash II, this is for Self defense/need a large blade for something, I plan to buy a Spyderco Millitary Model Left hand to replace it next week. Plain edge, cause I hate serrations.

Inside left pocket: One of my Case slipjoints. I use them for when I need a sharp knife, and often for food preperation, and general whittling/knife things. I rotate between a yellow handled CV medium stockman or sodbuster jr. or a stainless Blue bone Trapper. Plan to add a Yellow CV trapper and maybe a few more sodbusters and trappers in different variations. Can't say I like the stockman pattern very much.

Right pocket. Victornox SAK, have no idea what model it is. Says Officer Suisse on the tang and has on it:

1. Large blade
2. Small blade
3. Scissors
4. Pliers
5. Can opener/ small flathead screwdriver
6. Bottle opener/flathead screwdriver
7. Tweezers
8. Toothpick
8. Leather punch/awl
9. Parcel Hook.
10. Phillips head screwdriver

Had this one since I was a child, use it for most everything.

When My Izula comes in I'll probably wear it as a neck knife, it's always nice to have a fixed blade.

Can't vote I don't carry any of them. Right now I ws carrying one of my TI liner locks with Pink G10 handle and Damascus blade. Which I left on the night stand and My wife snagged it. I guess I am back to one of TI Frames with CPM 154.

Post pics of these PLEASE!! :)

Spyderco Endura on most work days, but a Buck Vantage gets carried alot too.

Also carry a becker necker most of the time.

(Hunting knife lineup is not the same as EDC lineup) and I hunt a good bit.

Gerber. Under the "it was good enough for my daddy, and his dad ... " and so on.

I also have a small Kabar, the model of which escapes me at this moment, that rides in my console or gets strapped on in rougher neighborhoods.

I almost always carry a Spyderco.

I've liked a lot of Kershaws, and respect the company for making sharp knives at reasonable prices, but Kershaws tend to be too skinny for me. The combination of thinness and small size makes them hard to keep stationary in a pocket, rather like the Spyderco Copilot.

I carry a Kershaw Whirlwind clipped in right pocket for serious work and Moore Maker small lock blade in bottom of right pocket for general purpose.

Benchmade. I love the Axis lock. I carry a 710 and a Mini-Grip. I also have a Leatherman Wave, one of the older ones without the interchangeable screw drivers.

Before I got the 710, I used to carry a Boker Reality-Based knife, I liked it a lot, but it was very bulky.

I currently carry a Kershaw skyline and a Weatherman Wave during the week. On the weekend I often replace the Wave with a Leatherman Squirt ps4.

I chose Kershaw...Only one on the list on my person now!

I have Victorinox , Masters Of Defense, and the Kershaw on me now.

I have a lot of Masters Of Defense Tactical Knives and Randall King Knives.

Masters Of Defense is now Blackhawk

I usually have at least my Leatherman in my pocket, some times a Gerber. On hunting trips I now carry a Muela belt knife and have the Leatherman in the pocket. In the canoe I have a Fiskers hatchet and a Coldsteel bushman that get general camp duty on hunting trips.
