Yes, please!:D
That Practical sure is attractive, but I'd take any of the above if I could find a good buy on one.
I've been checking out the local dealers for a BHP lately, but they want a small fortune plus my firstborn.:(

Standard w/ fixed sights. That said I got a MKIII at a good price, hate the grips though.

Of the five variations in my collection, the Renaissance is the undisputed favorite. I can email a photo of it if someone could post it....

I see from the 2004 catalog (page61), the Renaissance is now available again.

This one.....

Hello.

I guess my favorite for nostagic reasons is my first Hi Power, this '71 commercial that was customized.

It usually wears it original grips, but the "reaper" grips made for an interesting picture. (They actually don't fit too well and are a little thick.)

My old duty Hi Power remains a favorite. Of course, if it could talk, I'd have to kill it...

This Mk III has had a few minor things done, none of which is very obvious. It remains quite accurate and a favorite.

I honestly don't know which is my favorite. Could I keep but one, I'd lie and keep all three.

Best.

My favorite is the MkIII, which is why I bought one as my first pistol.

I actually took it out on one of its less-common shooting trips today (I keep it sparkling clean for house duty most of the time), and not a single problem. Accuracy was great, the trigger keeps getting better.

I love this gun in ways I can't even describe. I actually had my little "knighting" where I officially named her "Lucky 13."

She's my baby.

Wes

P.S. I finally decided on a name for my other one, too. She'll be known as "Hero."

Ooooh, nice gun WildAlaska. Def. feeling the Fabrique Nationale inscription on the slide! Then again, I have a little bias for Belgian guns.

My choice would be the Practical with some different grips. I prefer a bare front strap.

Pic from THR member "Rembrandt", sent to me to post. I kindly posted it but I believe the the pic was sent too large, what do you all think?

A resized picture is visible below so this one was removed due to its extremely large size. (Very nice picture, though....)

Doesn't somebody here have a custom Hi Power? Anyways, I saw it in the For Sale section a while ago and, man, was that thing sweet. Hopefully the owner will post a pic. Personally, I like the MKIII. Not a big fan of two-tone and I like the fixed sights. Now I just have to save up and buy one.

Re-sized picture. Please get rid of the huge one. :)

A .40 caliber Mk III owner here (along with a FEG PJK-9HP). Added Hogue wrap-around grips to both (and removed the mag disconnect from the FEG).

Life is good. :)

I only have one BHP and it's a new MkIII with fixed sights (the adj sight just sits too high and looks out of whack with the rest of the pistol's lines) and Uncle Mike's rubber grips. I haven't modified it in the least, though I'm dying to send it off for something or other.

Wild, who did your engraving? That's a very classy way dress it up, but I like how you didn't go overboard with full-coverage stuff. I'm definitely going to have to look into that when I can send mine off.

Overall, I'd rate the BHP as the best pistol in its class. The only thing I want to change is the sights (tritium) and the thumb safety (only because it digs into my thumb something wicked). Maybe a scrimshaw job on the slide and some antique nickel plating to make it shine.....
