Man hospitalized after attack by mob

A 19-year-old man is in critical condition at Ben Taub Hospital this morning following a fight with a mob at a northwest Houston apartment complex late Sunday.
The man was shot in the chest after being attacked and beaten by at least a dozen people at the apartment complex in the 13500 block of Northborough, Houston police said.
The victim staggered to a nearby convenience store where help was called. Police said the fight may have been sparked by an altercation at the same complex last week.

I know you are never to be caught in a situation like this, however this proves it can happen. I don't know who was at fault or why it happened but as the old saying goes: If you are going to a gun fight, bring a gun. (and ammo).
