The interview is with a gun range owner who received an application from Holmes. He never actually spoke with him, but had his suspicions from some red flags he saw.

He handles this BBC reporter wonderfully. He's clear, his arguments are strong, and he uses persuasive statistics to argue down further restrictions on guns in America. The interview begins at the 4 minute mark:

Not positive, but the interviewer sounds a lot like Mark Steyn - who fills in for Rush. http://www.steynonline.com/

To me, it sounded like a fair discussion. Nothing close to an interviewer needing to be handled. Just a reporter asking the questions his audience wants answers to - and getting them.

I do agree that the interviewee (sp?) handled himself well - and did us proud.

What I really liked was that he did not allow the interviewer to get away with any half truths or outright lies, whether he did it intentionally or not.

I particularly liked the reference to the 14 people that died in the following day in TX, when a F250 loaded with 23 illegals crashed into into a tree outside SanAntonio. Nobody is talking about banning trucks. Actually no one is talking about that carnage at all!
