Does anyone own this knife?

http://store.knifecenter.com/pgi-ProductSpec?ONSPC23

Any comments of it's performance? Rust resistance? Concealability?

I am thinking of buying this knife for use as an expendable self defense blade when I go on assignment overseas. It does not cost much and so I'll feel less heartbreak if it gets damaged through hard use or gets lost/stolen.

Any better suggestions?

You can't go wrong with Ontario knives.Great performers at a great price.Thier Old Hickory hop knives are great for cleaning bullfrogs.
BTW,the pig sticker was carried by American GIs as a last ditch weapon in WWI.

Ok, other than the CS Kobun

Are there any other suitable fixed blades with less then or equal to 5" of cutting edge. I'm looking for a compromise between cheapness and quality. Basically, I want something that can cut flesh, leather and rope decently but won't cause me heartbreak if the knife get damaged, lost, confiscated or stolen.

Kershaw Echo may be just what you looking for.

(And it's not nearly as ugly!)
