From this morning's Birmingham News

As if we don't have enough to do in Alabama, state Senator Rodger Smitherman re-writes a bill to allow the death penalty for murders committed with weapons that are federally banned. One problem, the Clinton gun ban has expired.

The article if filled with the usual factual errors and BS.

If a criminal is exposed to the death penalty for a crime, Mr. Smitherman wants him executed twice if the crime was committted using certain weapons.

:barf:

No guns are federally banned except new machine guns and new imported non-sporting arms. All guns are federally regulated to some extent. Sounds stupid unless they are referring to NFA items specifically or something.
