So does anybody else have a travel gun kit so to speak. Whenever legal, when traveling home or wherever I can I bring a gun kit so to speak.

Here is my current setup. So how about you?

Well I normally carry my Taurus Mil Pro PT140 on my no matter where I am going(wherever it's legal), though I don't carry reloads on me when I'm just out doing daily business. But I do keep a small emergency kit in my backpack. It has 2 extra 10rd mag, a flashlight, matches, small first aid kit, zip-ties/flex cuffs, multi tool, folding knife, and some other stuff in it. And before anyone says anything, no I do not intend on ever using the flex cuffs. They aren't even real ones, they are just normal thick nylon zip ties. They don't take up any room, so I figure "you never know". When I am traveling, I also thrown my Ruger P2345 with 2 mags in my traveling duffel as well.

I try not to go anywhere unarmed now. I remember before I even cared about guns, I would feel so safe traveling by myself across the state or farther. How naive I was. Now I cannot imagine going anywhere, especially when I have my GF with me, without a weapon.

I'm too young to carry, but I usually carry a spring assisted knife and a multitool with me.

If I were to pick a travel gun, then it would be a Keltec P380 or P32, as something you can basically take everywhere. If I was going some place particularly dangerous, FN Five Seven with 2 extra 30 round mags.

That's a cool revolver, by the way. It holds 7 shots?

In California, the state has found it safer for me to be unarmed so that I pose to risk to criminals :scrutiny: No travel gun for me :(

The same 1911, and .357 I CCW
And the same Ak I keep in the car.

I usually throw a 'mousegun' or another 1911 in the bag to have a spair, I guess that comes closest to what you are asking.

Don't try to take that setup on an airplane...ammo must be boxed!!

I have a pelican setup (actually two pelicans) that I use when flying - one for guns/knives/lights and the other for ammo/mags. Works well if you get a TSA agent that knows the regs. (and if not, I carry a copy of the ECFR regs with me, not TSA's) ;)
