I'm going to get one of those Merit widgets but it occurred to me that I could also have a pair of prescription glasses made that are specifically made to bring the front sight into focus.
This could be pretty cheap as I would just have a single vision lens done on my dominant eye. It seems that this is anything but a new idea and any optometrist can do this. I just have to find one that lets me bring a couple of guns in to the examination....so the guy at Sears I use is not a likely candidate. It will likely have to be an independently owned eye guy. I can't imagine any corporation that would allow guns on their premises.
I found this article that was written by an Optometrist to give the details to other Optometrists.

I'm in South West Ohio s if anyone knows of an eye doctor who happens to be a shooter...please let me know.
