FAL Smiths?

Anyone have recommendations? I'd like to ask here before the FALFiles, since there seem to be partisans of each smith there. I'm well aware of ARS, but I'd like to use a less well-known smith who can do as good a job. Right now, I'm thinking about Sledgehammer or Moses from FALFiles.

How is he to deal with? I've seen a few childish tantrums Derek's had on FALFiles regarding customer issues in the "Reviews" section.

Things like this are why I want some distance between me and the FALfiles to get thoughts from folks who won't get jumped on by partisans; the George Gouger and Gary Guccino incidents being prime examples of the poor treatment of persons who spoke against bad gunsmiths, who fooled nearly an entire board, only to be proven correct about their complaints in the end.

While I have seen childish behavior, I have never seen any negitive reviews of AZEX FALs. I personally dont like the free advertising that he stamps on reciever, however I do believe that he does it out of pride in workmanship.

His arch-nemisis "Gunplumber" of Arizona Response systems puts out a pretty nice FAL also.

Fortunitly FAL's are pretty easy to build, and most mid-level armorers (NOT gunsmiths!!!) can put out a pretty nice product. I dont think you could go wrong with Moses, my dealings with him have been excellent. I have not seen any of slegehammer's work, or dealt with him so I cant say.

I have 3 FALs done by Mark Graham at Arizona Response Systems I really like his work. I have also bought a DSArms FAL Mark's stuff is very good for the money.
