Ok.

When I get back home I'm fairly sure I'm going to be running one of my bosses gunshops. I'm looking for a nice briefcase that has a false bottom for me to slap a pistol w/beltloop holster and a couple mags in. Does anyone have anything in mind? I'd also like to slap a passport and a couple hundred bucks in it just for gimmick :p

I've been looking at a lot of bags on the internet so far and nothing strikes me in that department. Id also like to....ya know....use the briefcase as well.

Q has one of these collecting dust somewhere.

Though a briefcase in my hands would be more out-of-place than sporting a trench coat in summer, this looks like it would fit your criteria.

I don't quite understand the need for a false bottom? will there be anything else in the case?

I have a Maxpedition bag I use for a range bag that I like.

beware of gimicks when dealing with something as serious as firearms.

Carrying a firearm off my body always makes me nervous. Bags get stolen, left on subways, etc.

Me too, off body carry scares me. I've done in it a backpack though in limited situations. The HK and MAC shoot thru briefcases have always seemed interesting too! I've seen ones that have kevlar panels in them too.

I strongly agree. There have been more than a couple of female police officers from Detroit who have had their duty pistol, handcuffs, badge, official ID, etc stolen while carrying it all in their purse. The whole purse and all was simply wrestled right out of their hands. Add to that the forgot factor. Off-body carry concerns me.

Do you mean briefcase or attache case? Is this for security carry or is this just for fun?

With a briefcase, there are usually 2 snaps & straps to undo before you can get inside, then you have to pull the gun out of the hidden compartment...

Doesn't sound very speedy or efficient unless it is all for show.
