I just got into BP shooting about a year and a half, maybe two ago and bought 6 revolvers to try the sport out. I chose 4 Colt-type revolvers and 2 Remingtons ( a full size and a 5 1/2") All the revolvers are bone stock with the only exception that one is a CVA and one is a Uberti.
If all the sessions at the range, I have never seen one of the fancy full custom engraved revolvers or even one with an action job.
Do shooters ever spend the money to buy customised actions and various states of tune?
I have seen smokeless revolvers and even single actions that were "tuned" for (CAS) Some were pretty nicely finished and some were smooth as silk!
How come you don't see this level of "love" put into BP revolvers?
