No guns, but a great weekend camping with the wife and daughter. We kayaked and fished on Saturday. They got me a cool ball cap and tshirt that say "Woolard Guitar Shop - Vintage guitars and amps since 1967".....you guessed it, my last name is Woolard and I love guitars. Had a call from my son on Sunday while I lounged in the pool. Great weekend!! I love my family! :)

I did not receive any "gifts" from any one on "POP's Day" - just a Happy Fathers
Day Greeting from my daughter; via the world wide web~! :uhoh: ;)

CORRECTION:

My lovely wife made me a pineapple upside down cake, with her blessings
attached~!

Sadly, no...

HOWEVER. At the range with my wife and the eldest, A gentleman was there with a Class III license and a suppressed 9mm (HK I think, Honestly was so excited to shoot one it's a blur) , which he was all too happy to allow me the joy of handling.

First time shooting a Suppressed pistol, Not a new gun for me... but sure put that extra shine on the day at the range.

I passed him the Schofield with the off the shelf ammo... I hope he had a "blast" with it too!

Sorry for all the negative replies to the original question.

I received a nicely-boxed letter from my wife, indicating that I have a choice between a Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle, or a Ruger 1911 .45.

Since Ruger just announced the availability of the Gunsite Scout in left-hand version, that's my choice. (We have several 1911s on hand, but I still want the ruger version at some point.)

She's been giving me wonderful guns for decades...this is just the latest.

Kinda of.

Wife and daughter got me a Crossman 1377. Always wanted one as a kid.

Zombie squirrels beware :D

Not a dad either, but at last Saturday's gun show I treated myself to a Kel-Tec RFB. Price was a bit higher than I'd like (hence the treat!) but not too bad compared to the "Out of stock, last sold at" price at Bud's.

It was only the fourth one I've actually seen and the prices seem to be coming down slowly so I bit. A Father Day's treat for myself and we having a gun show drought the next couple of months.

Here is a quick photo. Short answer is I like it, but had to put on higher rings the second time out to get a "meatier" part of my cheek on the stock. Had a little confusion adjusting the gas regulator but so far its worked fine with two random FAL mags and the one it came with using Tula and DAG surplus.

For father's day, I cut grass for five hours. Then I walked over to the range and shot for an hour. Not a bad day. I'd take several more like that this summer.

I didnt get a gun for fathers day percay, but i did trade a revolver to a m1 garand is amazing shape... only had 475 in the revolver, so im freaking thrilled with my first m1 garand ever. Its been my dream gun for the last two years.

Cool. Last year was similar for me and I got to pickup a .22 bolt rifle for my daughter then without question, since it was Father's Day. :D

This year, I spent the day on the road with my daughter taking her to summer camp. I got some homemade crawfish ettouffee when I got home, which was awesome as usual.

At my little girl's suggestion, I took my 3 year old niece and 4 year old daughter shooting for the first time. They thought the little Cricket rifle and Super Colibri's were awesome and want to go again.
I think if it wasn't father's Day, permission for that may not have gone as well with momma and auntie.

no gun here either. nothing even gun related. oh well, still got to spend the day with the family, and that is seldom a bad thing :)

Got to spend the day with my daughter (who is visiting). She's a teenager and into boys so not interested in shooting. But she humors me.
