Favorite 30 Cal?

Incase some don't understand, 308 on the left 300 on the right.
I was torn between .30-06 and .300WM. I hunt with .300WM in large part because it was my first hunting rifle and my wife gave it to me. If I had it to do over again, I'd have let my FIL (who coached her) know that I wanted a .30-06. I do love shooting my M1 Garand.
In the end I chose .30-06 over the .300WM because I didn't want that puny upstart .308 to win the poll.

Kinda of a toss-up, but voted for the wm. I do have a 300bo, 308win (1st 30 cal purchased) & 300wm (3 110's). For a larger 30cal it's toss-up between 300nm and 300lm.
I have to go with .308 Win among those available on the list. IMO it's the most versatile all-around. 30-30 Win is a close second for the practical use that most of us are going to see in the midwest. One that's not on the list, 7.62x39, is my first choice for my purposes. Between my Mini-30 and my CZ 527 there's nothing I can't get done that I need to get done with x39.
PS: with a few exceptions, I load mostly .308 bullets for 7.62x39
