Favorite 5.56 x 45 launcher?

Grump, the AUG doughnut is self elevating. Put the feet of the target at the bottom of the circle, and you automatically super-elevate the muzzle. It works out to 600 yards - I know, I tried it. While there are longer barrled versions, it doesn't need it. And you can drive a truck over an AUG mag and still use it - try that with an M16 mag.

Make mine an AUG if it must be 5.56

I actually voted FA-MAS, because while it's french, it just looks cool. Plus I like the top-trigger style charging handles. Does it take STANAG M-16 mags, or does it have a special catch?

The newer FAMAS G2 does take AR15/M16 mags. The older F1 model does not.
