Favorite/Best Defensive Round for Ruger LCP

I keep my P3AT loaded with the winchester ranger-t ammo that I bought it with. The only other .380 defensive ammo I like is corbon DPX or pow'r'ball. I have no experience with the buffalo bore heavy loaded .380 but I would like to try it.

I only carry a 12 gauge loaded with 7 rds of 00 buckshot...

These arguments are moronic. How many of you have ever seen a person get shot with any of the rounds you have mentioned here, I know I haven’t, but I wouldn't want to get shot with a .380, or a .22lr for that matter. .380 was good enough to kill for a long time, but with the advent of the internet, it is now a "wimpy" round.

When I see some one eat a few rounds of .380, come up and tell me it tickled, I’ll rethink my BACKUP weapon.

The Hornady Critical Defense rounds look promising.
Hornady claims that they will expand every single time without fail, and they have a bit more of a point than many other hollow-points rounds, which should help them feed more reliably.
