SP101 2" 357 and its adopted brother PF9. They are playmates, sometimes they argue and of course the big brother wins and then they hang out together on my belt.

.357 Ruger LCR. Shoots niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

Shotgunjoel, don't get your panties in a bunch.
I live in a part of this state where things illegal in the north aren't looked upon so unfavorably by the people who maintain law and order.
Responsible proven adults are actually allowed to function like responsible proven adults.
Law enforcement isn't always your friend and they darn well aren't always your enemy either.

I would NEVER carry a gun in Chicagoland, then again, I stay the hell out of Chicagoland!

For a long time it was always a Colt Gov. Model, a S&W 649, or a Sig 226 just for something different. About 3 years ago I decided it was time to switch to a compact EDC, so I did some major downsizing. Now it is a Colt Commander, S&W 442, but still the Sig for those days I desire a more European flair.
;)

1967 Smith and Wesson nickel model 49 loaded with semi jacketed lead hollow points.

For the cold days:

Springfield Armory XD45C IWB using a Clipdraw and Vanguard trigger guard with a custom Kydex belt loop attached to the Vanguard. It's the most minimalistic carry method I've found for the XD45C.

For the hot days:

LCR .357 with XS small dot tritium sight and the Hogue boot grip. Neither the trit nor boot grip are available on the stock .357, so I had to buy them separately. I love this gun. It also has a Clipdraw and I either carry it in a Fobus ankle holster, Mexican, 4 O'clock IWB, or in my jacket pocket in a pocket holster to break up the lines.

IWB PT 709 single stack 9mm about 75% of the time. The rest of the time, it's a S&W 5906 in a DaSantis OWB.
If I head into the "big" city, the 5906 is going with me.

It really does depend. I have been carrying a CZ Rami 9mm for a little while and it does all of my CC service now. I've only been carrying it for the last 6 months so I can't say it's my favorite yet.

For years the only thing I carried was a S&W 642 with a speed strip. I would have to say that due to ease the 642 would get my vote. If the CZ does 5 years of good duty it may overtake the 642 in my books.

kel tec pf9 in a Don Hume iwb holster. I feel like i could conceal that gun even if I had on my swiming trunks!

I started out with a XD40 subcompact in a Crossbreed Supertuck. Very comfortable, very reliable gun. In over 3,000 rounds I never once experienced a malfunction.

However, I am a 1911 guy at heart. After carrying a few of my colts around for a while, I was able to determine what I wanted in a carry 1911, and subsequently purchased a Dan Wesson V-Bob. Outstanding gun, with no MIM parts(so obviously it will never break, jam, or run out of ammunition) an excellent trigger, and superb fit and finish for a production gun. I have yet to experience a malfunction, but in all fairness I only have around 500 rounds through it thus far. I feel confident enough to carry it.

As far as pocket guns go, I chose a Sig P238. Mine has been great since I bought it last April(as well as my Father's) but YMMV with those particular guns.

My favorite carry gun is an alloy framed Fusion 9mm 1911 CCO. I carry a 9mm 1911 on duty and this gun is the perfect compliment - same manual of arms, same fit and feel, lightweight and easy to conceal thank to the Commander length barrel and Officer frame, plus it's a pleasure to shoot and very, very accurate.

If for some reason the Fusion doesn't fit the occasion then I'll carry my custom 9mm S&W 360J, it is my BUG when I'm working.

I guess I would hve to say

that my Kimber Tac Pro II is my favorite since it is what I carry most often. I have several other 1911's that "go along for the ride" on occasion. I also like the Mid sized Glocks in 40 S&W and 357 Sig, I have both, but the 9mm G19 wouldn't leave me feeling undergunned either.

Depends on where I am going and how I dress for the event or weather. If possible Beretta 8045. Then most of the time a Glock 23, even around the house. I do like and carry the older J frames, favorite is Mod. 60 IWB and always a little Beretta 21 in 22lr in shirt pocket or front pants pocket. I actually don't dress around the handgun I dress then pick the best choice to carry.

I usually carry an XD-40 in a Don Hume 721 OT OWB. If I want something smaller I carry a Kel Tec P11 in a Don Hume JIT slide.
