bout the most high rounds is my COLT 1911 38 SUPER/9 MM . THAT GUN STARTED LIFE AS A 1911 38 SUPER IN 1967.

You've got a bit of a head start of me with your Colt .38 Super as I didn't get mine until 2011. First thing I always do when I get a .38 Super is to get a complete 9mm. barrel assembly and a couple of 9mm. magazines for it. Makes for relatively inexpensive practice sessions at the range and made even less expensive as I reload for both cartridges.

The barrel is from Storm Lake and the magazines are Colts. The one on the right is a .38 Super while the one on the left with the spacer down the back of the magazine is a 9mm.

Most fun recently? Been blasting with MP5 and MP5k. Even w/o LSBHO, roller lockers are a hoot. Blow through 500 rounds in the MP5 and the G43x MOS in 30 minutes, then spend 90 minutes policing brass... Life of a reloader...
