You will get a hundred opinions, all good but I will say this....there will be one rig that will come up more than the others.....and that is the Alessi CQC/S. It is the perfect OWB and probably the most popular among high end holster buyers....
A versatile holster with which I have had success is the FIST #43 Belt Slide IWB holster. It can be worn IWB or OWB and, in my experience, functions both ways quite well. Cost is less than $60.00 for a quality, versatile leather holster.
When I carry in the car for CCW I use a Galco Hidden Agenda. It is a functional day planner with a locking CCW section. I can get from car to hotel room with no one the wiser....
I like the Andrews Macdaniel II. I recently posted a review on THR. For $70, it's one of the better custom leather products I've seen. I haven't seen very many, so take that with a grain of salt
I used to wear nothing but leather until I got a kydex IWB about a year ago. Really changed my mind as (for me, at least) it is much more comfortable because it takes up much less room.
That comp-tac looks good, except the kydex clips are butt. I like my single leather snap on the Macdaniel II. But it's not tuckable and nobody will ever see it anyway.
I carry a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry, in a Kirkpatrick Under Cover
Rig. Complete set has the belt, holster, and a double magazine pouch.
Very nicely done, with 'bout a 14 day delivery time. Affordable prices,
and just real nice people too do business with. Tell Rachel I sent you
