what’s your favorite online shop for black powder guns at a discount? but not Midway USA

I bought a lot of guns from Cabela's but haven't bought anything from an online retailer in years. They're not that good since the Bass Pro takeover.
I’ll try Cabelas, I hate that I have to pay a $25
special tax here. but if I do store pick up away from Seattle it’s no special tax

Just watch Cabelas, almost 2 years ago when Black Powder guns were selling out everywhere, I picked up an 1851 Navy in .36 in the local Minnesota store. I had to fill out the same 4473 that I would have with a regular gun, (I live in ND) not only that I was walked to the door with the gun. I think I was even given a trigger cable lock. Whole process took about 40 minute's out of my life that I will never get back!
Before Bass Pro's took them over, Cabelas used to be great. I remember back in their Bargain Cave BP guns showing up at a discount because people decided they didn't like them and or just couldn't figure out where the magazine went! :what:
I remember a Howdah BP pistol for about $800 I'm still kicking myself for not buying about 10 years ago.

Dixie Gun Works has an on-line computer ordering store but they still sell an old school catalog for only $5.00 ... I need to get a new one ... I like to find what I want in the catalog then go on line and order it . A few years ago their on-line "catalog" was a mess ... looking at stuff was hard .
Gary

The old Dixie Catalog was half catalog...and half reference manual. Worth having one just for the reference value.
I want one now! is it $5 plus shipping or $5 shipped? anybody got a catalog link? was on their website but didn’t find it

They were 5.00 in the 70's. On the cover it said 5.00 or 15.00 if you like this book. They were over an inch thick and full of stuff.

For Pietta and other stuff don't forget EMF. They are a good place. They like many suppliers now are out of stock on a lot of stuff though.
just when thur their website, everything is out of stock. but good looking website!

Bought a bunch from Cabela's but not since that went to crap. Their selection is dismal now. I order stuff from Dixie and Track of the Wolf pretty often. Got one of the 1862 Pocket models this week from Midway, on sale.

I’ll buy something from them! see how Dixie service is. I like their name
