Mine would be my Tikka-t3 lite in .270WSM. Thats my baby and I LOVE the .270 cartridge. Without a doubt IMO one of the most accurate hard hitting rounds out there. The ballistics tables dont lie.

As far as rifles go I also own a Mini-14 with a folding stock and a red-dot sight and a WASR-10 GP {romo' AK 47}

in the near future im lookin to pick up an AR 10 type rifle. Will prolly go with DPMS and a leupold MK 3 or just the rifle and wait till I can afford a MK 4.

So what is everones favorite rifle that they own??

My Mouser's :)

commercial 98 action with a Douglass barrel chamberd in 416 Taylor

Brno 98 with a Hart barrel chambered in 308 Winchester

Of course...as most on here will say...generally my favorite rifle will be the one in the gun-cabinet or my gun-rack. :)

It's not fancy, but I just love shooting it. It's light, handy, has great sights and it's accurate.

Well, I have lots of rifles, but to pick a favorite I would have to go with this one.
I built it, and I have taken Elk, Muledeer, and antelope with it.
It's just fun to shoot.

Any favorite rifle of mine must be suited to scope mounting. That EXCLUDES rifles with afterthought tiny screwholes in the top of the reciever instead of integral bases.

Ruger bolt rifles are my favorite for that reason. Good value, just have to put an aftermarket trigger on them.

Right now it is my PTR 91 which can put 3 shots touching at 50 with the iron sites if I do my part. It loves Winchester 150 soft points and I would love to take it hunting so I need to find a 5 round mag for it.

my favorite is usually whatever i have in my hands at the moment - i can make a strong case for any/all of 'em.

but the one that came to mind first when i read the question was my remington 700 in 300 win mag w/ a leupold vx-3 4.5-14... so, i guess that one is my favorite rifle - for now.

My grandfathers Krag. At the moment he uses it as his rain gun  . But its in great condition and one day he will pass it on to me.

Winchester M70 FWT stainless and walnut, 6.5x55, with Talleys and a Zeiss 3-9x40. Classic favorite, hands-down.

.

cameron, what's something like that run $ ?

Its fantabuloustically stupendiferous !

My Grandfather's Browning A5... Hands down the best shotgun I have ever shot. Built in 1938, still handles everything I hand out.

Favorite, I don't know how to answer that really. Too many guns, too many different needs. But as far as most fun to take out and just shoot, has to be the Winchester model 1894 rifle in .357 mag, cheap to shoot, accurate, and huntable in .357mag. The next hs to be the Marlin 336 in 30-30 since it is a carbine and a grwat brush bun for deer antilope, feral pigs and such.

Only have two, a 1894s, great shooter, accurate but expensive to shoot often, and my 995 which has proven to be a pleasant surprize for such an inexpensive weapon,$300 invested to make it look like this. ATI.jpg

Favorite firearm

My favorite firearm is the one I'm shooting Right This Minute. Outside world gone. No past. No future. Line up sights. Watch the breeze. Squeeze the trigger. C'mon, baby, let's do it, just you and me, perfect just this once.

Think of the sear slowly sliding out of the notch. Line up sights. Watch the breeze. Squeeze. Think of mainspring flexing. Line up sights. Watch the breeze. Squeeze. Think of primer detonating. Line up sights. Watch the breeze. Squeeze. Think of powder burning, of gas pressure, of barrel friction. Line up sights. Watch the breeze. Squeeze. Think of air pressure. Think of sound barrier. Line up sights. Watch the breeze. Squeeze.

Oh. Recoil. Hole in target. Nice rifle. Exhale.
