I love that this poll is turning out so evenly, and take it as confirmation of what numerous posters have said; these are all terrific guns. The difference, I think, really boils down to what use you'd want to put a particular model to. Having handled all three, I'd say the ideal places for them would look something like this:
N-frame 357: Hunting and field carry; target and action competition
L-frame 357: Open carry for LE, security, or private citizen in appropriate situations
K-frame 357: Concealed (or concealable) carry for LE, security, or private citizen.
They can all obviously do any of the things on the list; but I'm just trying to think of how the particular strengths of each model/frame size suit it best to particular applications. E.g., a K-frame is obviously a fine gun for open LE carry as well (witness the grillions of them that have been carried just this way); but my notion is that the L represents a slightly better balance of bulk and strength for this application, since you don't have to worry about hiding those few extra ounces and millimeters.
