Wanted to know you guys favriot round to load for. What one do you find most enjoyable? leave a comment

Probably the .38 Special. It was the first cartridge I loaded for and I still feel the easiest to load. You can use so many powders that will produce accurate ammo and bullet selection seems endless. It's also a lot of fun to shoot...

I really enjoy in rifle round when I'm tweaking it for accuracy. I love to go to the range afterwards and see the fruit of my labor(or sometimes, lack thereof)

I do enjoy loading in general though, from 9mm Luger to 7mm RemMag. Its always a good time to relax and be doing something productive at the same time

Don't think I have a favorite. I likely load more 308 Winchester and 223 Remington in rifle than other calibers I shoot but I can't say I favor any one cartridge. The same is true in handgun as I likely load more 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum and 45 Colt than others but really I don't favor loading any one over the other. It's all the same to me. Long as they all work I am happy. :)

Any big bore pistol round. I load .41 Rem, .44 Spl and .45 ACP more than any other cartridges. .44 Spl. has become my favorite over the last few years. That cartridge will do anything anyone needs from a handgun cartridge when handloaded.

45-90 is my favorite to reload, but I reload more 44 special than anything.

.357 Magnum. Always been intrigued by that round and what it can do out of a lever action carbine.

the one that goes "bang"

Yes, I'm in the same camp as MDof2.

My favorite bounces around depending on what I'm in the mood for at the time. I guess that is why I have capabilities to load more cartridges than Carter has liver pills.:)

.357 Magnum. Always been intrigued by that round and what it can do out of a lever action carbine.
I second this, a stout 357 load out of a carbine out performs most intermediate rifle cartridges like 223/556, 7.62x39, 5.45, and 300blk in terms of muzzle energy. I have a load that produces 1450 ft/lbs of muzzle energy. Loading it is just as fun and easy as shooting it.

If you look at my load log its easy to see I load more .223 than anything lately. As far as favorite? Maybe .38 special. I like the look of a brass case with a Kieth style SWC 158 gr. bullet.

For me...its all fun.

44 magnum...easy, straight walled cartridge and it makes me smile thinkin' about how much $ I'm saving with each pull.
+1
The fantastic .44 mag is joyful to reload... putting a 100 rds neatly in my MTM box ready for the next range visit is a sweet feeling. Feels like lining up a couple platoons of hardcore a$$ kickers. It truly makes me proud to be an American... hat tip to Elmer Keith :)

.223 is the most fun for me or .243 is close too.....how about least favorite? Loading the .22 Hornet is a nuisance but yields great results with much better accuracy than factory loads.
