Coyotes hate cats. They will go out of their way to kill a cat. Coyotes ALSO do a better job taking care of rodents than cats do. Don't shoot the coyote unless they are causing you problems. That way, the rodents and cats and kept in check.

Don't they have a Air Soft type gun that shoots "pepper pellets"? Like paintballs with OC powder in them? Look around and maybe you can find something like that, a few hits of those things and I imagine the cate will VAMOOSE

feral cats can never really be domesticated. however, not all outside cats are feral. there is a substantial difference between a pet cat and a non-pet cat, but non-pet cat does not equal feral.

barn cats are domesticated in much the same way as pigs and cows are. they serve a useful purpose. they are not feral, but they are not pets either.

my mom got a cat from the shelter when she found she had mice. the cat quickly got rid of the mice and she has had no trouble since. however, the cat is not friendly at all. we call it hissing kitty because it hisses at people and swipes at them with her paws if they try to pet her. she just has no interest in being petted.

OTOH, we had cats when I was a kid that spent much of their time outside hunting critters, but when they came inside would jump up in your lap and ask for affection. We also had some that just did not like people all that much.

Starting To Get Stupid

When I have a moment, later, I'll excise the more blatant low-roadness.

For now this is just plain closed.

And I won't be re-opening it.

Cripes, guys.

I mean, really, a little restraint?

Dayum.
