Fiber optic front sight on a Mosin Nagant?

I was thinking about getting a set of MOJO peep sights for my 91/30 and thought it would be really cool if I could put a fiber optic front sight on it as well.

Has anyone ever tried this before?

Does anyone know who makes a good fiber optic front that would fit with some minor fitting without having to do any permanent modifications to the rifle?

You just made my day, i;ve never heard of anyone thinking of putting fiber optics on a mosin before. Anyway, it would probably be pretty difficult due to the post sight arrangement. But +1 on the mojos.

Just used my google fu and this looks promising. don't know if it'd work on a standard mosin though because finns are adjustable for windage and whatnot http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?p=836057

The closest thing I can think of would be to do the front sight mod on surplusrifle.com and use fiber optic rod instead of metal. I haven't heard of anyone trying it, so I don't know how viable it would be. I'd be interested to find out, though.
