FIE Revolver?

Does anyone have any info on one of these?It Is a brass frame 36 caliber , has the schroling on the cyclinder. It Is in sloppy condition . Can it be tightened up? Thanks Steve

What other markings are on the gun? On the right side of the frame, do you see any Roman numerals or letters? That would be the date code - post it here and someone can tell you when it was made. Can you post a picture of the gun?

Ill get some pics today. It has PN with a star over it then three XXX ,also has coat of arms with star over it. Has 2436 On the steel part of the frame on the bottum. Thanks

XXX = 1974 (or hardcore porn). The other marks are the Italian proof house stamps. I think the FIE (if that's what it is) means it's a Pietta, but I might be wrong on that.

FIE was not known for importing quality firearms ( of any type).

Given FIE's reputation & described condition the gun sounds like a wall hanger to me.

It Has side to side play in it and the ram rod screw is broke off. Thanks Steve
