field strip davis p-380

I offered to help a friend clean their gun. This gun is not like any that we have and there is not an owner's manual available. Does anyone have information they would be willing to share about how to field strip and reassemble a Davis p-380?

Drop magazine and ensure it is unloaded.
Check to make sure it's unloaded.
Push in button on back of slide. Pull back slide some while pushing button forward and lift slide up and let slide forward.
Remove firing pin and spring.
Push down sear, remove sear cam, remove pressure from sear and set it and spring to the side. If you don't they might come off, causing you to look for them.
Reverse the order to assemble.

Make sure it is unloaded completely.

I think it works best to make sure the firing pin is released prior to pushing the button in on the back. I prefer to use snap caps or the pencil eraser trick. I can shoot the pencil all the way across the room so I hang on to it loosely so it only shoots out a few inches.

Pull the back of the slide up and carefully let the bottom of slide move forward off the frame and over the barrel. Then all the little springs fall out all over the place. Just kidding, watch out.
