Lighten Up guys

It is just a Kel-Tec Picturethread, and its always nice to look at pictures. I, for one, have found my next rifle from these pictures. Thank you for that opportunity.

WHAT BUGS?

Been thinking about the PF-9 for pocket carry. gBelleh mentioned waiting till the bugs are worked out. What kind of problems do they have? Looking for a real low profile auto that will work WTSHTF. Any other suggestions?

grimjaw: You are most welcome!

glassman: How 'bout the P-11? Not much bigger than a PF-9, with 12-rd. mags available. I can pocket carry mine, but YMMV.

Regards,
Dirty Bob

Glassman, I recently picked up a PF 9 and have been duly impressed with it. I would stick with a newer one (serial #800 range and above) just to be sure that most of the kinks are worked out. There is a post above from JShirley that mentions KTOG, go there and they can help you out with an informed decision. It is a KelTec owners site, but they will definately shoot straight with you on your questions. As for me, I had a P3AT that went everywhere with me until the 9 came out. It is a pretty accurate gun at decent range. I must be recoil sensitive of late because I took it out with my Taurus 1911 and definately preferred to shoot the full size pistol. But I will always be carrying the 9, especially with warmer weather coming, besides, if it ever needs to be deployed the recoil thing would be the last thing I would be thinking of.

Okay, okay.....P3AT in a K&D Defender Plus.

I finally got a firsthand look a PF-9 today at the gun show. I liked the package and plan to pick one up eventually, but this one had a two digit serial number so I passed on it. Waiting for the bugs to get ironed out.

I picked up a P11 about 8 years ago.. seems like they had first come out about that time.. Phil was the gunsmith at that time..

I don't have the opportunity to fire mine that often.. I like the feel and punch it has.. but mine has had an issue of mis firing since day one. I sent it back for a once over from KT, but it still does the same thing even after getting it back from them.

It doesn't matter the type ammo, it suffers from the hit n miss with all ammo put thru it. This said, I would NOT depend on this weapon in a time of need..:banghead:
